Peoples Bank of Deer Lodge Promotes Amber Brown as President

The Board of Directors of Peoples Bank of Deer Lodge is pleased to announce the promotion of Amber L. Brown.  She has been promoted to the position of President, and will begin her duties on November 1, 2014.  She replaces Kirk Sandquist as President.  He will remain as Chairman of the Board.

Amber has been with the bank since 2000 and has been a teller, new accounts representative, Vice President, Cashier, secretary to the Board, Board member and recently Senior Loan Officer and Executive Vice President.  She will continue on the Board of Directors.  Because of Amber’s hard work and dedication, her increased knowledge and responsibilities have prepared her for this promotion.

Amber’s family consists of her husband Beau who is with Mount Powell Tire (Les Schwab), and daughters Baylee, Aubrey, and Rikke Nielsen (a foreign exchange student from Denmark).

Amber is involved with the 4-H council and is a leader with a 4-H club, she supports her daughters and the events and sports that they are involved with in the school and community.  Additionally, she is there for Beau’s  oval dirt track racing.  Beau and Amber also own and operate Victory Lanes bowling center in Deer Lodge.

With this promotion, the Bank continues its long-term goals of providing premiere financial products and service to our market area which is Powell County and surrounding counties.  In order to meet these goals the Bank must have strong leadership with its officers and employees to provide excellent service to our community.  Amber is joined at Peoples Bank by the following staff: Amanda Micu, loan officer; Brooke Johnson, cashier; Scott Perkins, loan officer; Becky Lowery, teller; Josslyn Gliko, teller; and Korey Vermillion, teller.
