Session Title:
AI & the Future of Banking: How to Leverage AI for Security, Efficiency, & Growth
Session Description:
Generative AI is here—and it’s not just for Silicon Valley. In this engaging, non-technical session, Montana-based IT and cybersecurity executive Conor Smith will demystify AI and show how it can help banks across the state work smarter—not harder.
From preparing board reports in minutes, to streamlining compliance tasks, to creating strategic growth plans powered by real-time data, Conor will show how AI is the new “shovel” replacing the outdated “spoon” many banks are still using.
Designed with the realities of community banking in mind, this session will address how AI can be applied in a safe, secure, and ethical way—while strengthening the relationships that set Montana’s banks apart.
Whether you’re a CEO, department manager, lender, or frontline service representative, you’ll walk away with:
- Practical, real-world examples you can apply immediately
- Downloadable tools to jumpstart your AI journey
- A human-centered mindset to guide your team through change
Most importantly, you’ll learn how to set the tone for innovation—without losing the personal touch that makes Montana banking special.
